Start in August to Stay on Track! Here's what to keep in mind:

- Decide early if your chapter will aim for Honor Roll (300+ pts), Bronze (400+), Silver (600+), Gold (800+), or the top Chapter of the Year award.
Keep Documentation All Year
- Create a digital or physical folder for collecting:
- Meeting agendas, sign-in sheets, and photos
- Screenshots of social media posts or articles
- Project descriptions and event flyers
- Participation lists for competitions, reading bowl, and TomeCon
Track Points as You Go
- Use the official Chapter of the Year form to track your activities and estimated points monthly—don’t wait until February!
- Download the 2025-2026 Chapter of the Year Application Form (provided in Word Document format)
Document with Headers
- All supporting documents must be labeled with the correct Activity Number from the form. Keep this in mind when creating and saving files.
Plan Ahead for the Submission
- Final submissions must be typed, printed, and bound (no three-ring binders!) and received by March 2, 2026. Late entries will not be accepted.
- Pro Tip: Assign a student officer to help track activities and collect documentation throughout the year. Staying organized from the beginning will make your spring submission stress-free and successful!
