competition exemplars

NOTE: We encourage chapter advisers and chapter members to be thoughtful in your consideration of these exemplars.  Any student-- at any time --could create a project that is exceeds the standard in the provided exemplar. After all, that is the beauty of ever growing student creativity.  Please do not view the provided exemplar as a "ceiling" or as a "template'.  We encourage uniqueness and creativity in our submissions. Please refer to the rubric for each event as a guide for required elements and then create with no boundaries.

It could be a good chapter meeting activity to have your students judge an exemplar with the rubric.  Then as a group compare the different rubric scores created by students and discuss reasons for the different scores/judgement.
